Welcome to my home away from home, my pottery studio! You may know me from some of the craft shows I attended over the past couple years, or maybe this is the first time we have met.

 

My name is Darren and growing up in Northampton, NB gave me the opportunity to spend a lot of time outdoors and really develop a deep connection with nature. I ended up becoming very passionate about all nature-based activities and crafts I had tried. Pottery has become the natural extension of all my passion for nature. There is a sense of awe and connectedness that comes from taking a raw piece of clay and turning it into a functional item or something beautiful. It feels amazing to be taking part in an activity that people have been doing for thousands of years.

 

I love learning new things and I do not shy away from challenging myself with new techniques/methods. I feel a sense of joy and anticipation with each new glaze recipe or combination as I wait to see how things come together.

 

Now I have a pottery studio in Woodstock, NB and I am truly overjoyed to be sharing my experience with others. Bringing my products into the online space will give me more of an opportunity to meet even more wonderful people, and I cannot wait!
